Dual Chamberlain Smart Opener Replacement in Peoria

Completed
July 30, 2026
Location
Peoria
Project Type
Garage Door Opener Replacement

The Challenge
Two 30-Year-Old Openers
Both of the home's garage door openers were roughly 30 years old — well past their prime — and one had a chain that had jumped off its rail, leaving that door unusable. The homeowner wanted a straightforward, modern upgrade: two dependable new openers with smartphone control, without replacing the doors themselves.
Our Solution
New Chamberlain Smart Openers
Rather than nurse along a pair of three-decade-old motors — one with its chain off the track — we replaced both openers with new Chamberlain B4310 smart openers. They run quietly and reliably, and they're myQ-enabled, so the homeowner can open, close, and check both doors right from their phone. The existing doors were left in place.

Smart myQ Opener (×2)

The Result
Quiet, Smart & Reliable
Both doors now open and close quietly and reliably on brand-new Chamberlain B4310 openers — no more chain off the track. With myQ, the homeowner can control and monitor both garage doors from a phone, from anywhere.
